Day To Day Responsbilities:

  • An Endur developer needs a blend of technical and domain-specific skills to effectively work with the OpenLink Endur platform, a comprehensive energy trading and risk management (ETRM) solution.
  • 3 years in hands on Endur Development is the minimum expectation, ideally looking for 5+ years experience Preferably have developed Endur in a commodities implementation (natural gas, crude, coal, metal, etc.)
  • Must have scripting exp in AVS (older) & JVS (newer) Will be working in both, eventually going to an only JVS environment.
  • SQL development - expert (knows joins, etc.)

Must Have:

Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Java, particularly in the context of Endur's AVS/JVS scripting and OpenComponents framework.
  • A deep understanding of relational databases, including SQL query writing, optimization, and data modeling.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Endur platform, its modules (Trading, Risk, Operations, Accounting, etc.), and its configuration options.
  • A solid grasp of energy trading and risk management concepts, including commodities, derivatives, pricing, hedging, and risk management techniques.
  • Experience with integrating Endur with other systems, such as front-office trading platforms, back-office systems, and data warehouses.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues within the Endur system.
  • Proficiency in using version control systems like Git to manage code changes and collaborate with other developers.
  • Understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery principles and tools to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.

  • Effective communication skills to interact with business users, other developers, and project managers.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in development and configuration tasks.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Compensation

  • Hourly Rate: $100 - $105 per hour This reflects base compensation and may vary based on candidate qualifications.
