Job Purpose
This is a front-office analytical generalist role within the OTC Trading business, spanning trade and product support, platform support, new product implementation, business management, capital analysis and process improvement. The role is designed to give the successful candidate broad exposure to the operating model of an institutional OTC derivatives business, with the expectation that they will progressively take ownership of one or more functional areas over time.
Candidate Profile
This role is suited to a high-calibre analytical generalist with strong intellectual curiosity, sound judgement and the ability to become effective quickly in unfamiliar subject matter. The ideal candidate may not yet be a specialist in OTC derivatives, but will be able to absorb complexity, ask good questions, structure problems clearly and build credibility with Trading, Quant, Risk, Treasury, Operations, Technology and Compliance colleagues. Over time, the successful candidate will be expected to develop deeper ownership of one or more functional areas.
Responsibilities
Across all areas, the role requires strong analytical judgement, intellectual curiosity, the ability to learn unfamiliar products and systems quickly, and the confidence to operate in an evolving front-office environment where responsibilities may not always be neatly defined.

- Prepare materials for management meetings, governance forums and strategic business reviews.
Platform Support
- Support client and broker onboarding onto trading platforms, including configuration, access and product setup.
- Act as business-facing support for client and broker platform queries, distinguishing straightforward user issues from matters requiring Technology or Quant involvement.
- Track recurring platform issues, identify root causes where possible, and help improve support processes, documentation and user experience.
- Assist with user testing, rollout and adoption of new platform functionality.
Trade & Product Support
- Develop a practical understanding of OTC product structures, trading workflows and lifecycle events across FX, Energy and Agricultural products.
- Support traders with product setup, trade booking, workflow queries and operational issues, working closely with US-based Trade & Product Support colleagues.
- Help identify recurring issues, control gaps or workflow inefficiencies, and support improvements to coverage, process and escalation.
New Product Process
- Support the administration and continuous improvement of the New Product Approval Process.
- Coordinate implementation of approved products between Trading, Risk, Operations, Technology, Treasury and Compliance.
- Track implementation progress, outstanding actions, dependencies and readiness for release.
- Maintain process documentation and contribute to clear, scalable governance practices as the product set expands.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce manual effort, including through use of AI technology.
- Author and maintain business process and workflow documentation.
- Support implementation of new tools and business initiatives.
