Job Description:
What’s the role
Shell is advancing its Powering Progress strategy on the journey to net-zero emissions. Achieving this ambition requires uniting Shell’s strategic and technical expertise across data, strategy, architecture, and innovation. This integration is essential to drive the transformative shifts needed in IT. As part of this journey, we are seeking a skilled and seasoned Solution Architect to enhance automation and fully harness data and innovation.
What you’ll be doing
We’re currently looking for a seasoned Solution Architect to play a pivotal role in Shell’s Trading & Supply global transformation, specifically the implementation of our Energy Trade & Risk Management (ETRM) solution on Azure to create a scalable, secure, and strategic landscape that enables the transformation of Shell’s Trading capabilities. This opportunity sits at the heart of the Trading & Supply business transformation, supporting the Global Products organisation as we establish Endur as the global backbone ETRM platform. With a modular ecosystem being designed around this foundation, you’ll help shape a future ready, cloud native architecture built with flexibility, resilience, and data centricity at its core. As we move through the design phase, you will have a rare chance to influence architectural decisions from the ground up, define how a modern ETRM landscape should operate at global scale, and drive a paradigm shift in how Shell’s Trading business integrates processes, data, and systems across the value chain. This is a role for someone who thrives on complexity, innovation, and impact—someone who wants to help architect the future of one of the world’s most dynamic trading organisations.
