We are seeking a highly experienced Senior OpenLink Endur Developer & India Site Lead to establish and lead our new OpenLink Center of Excellence in Bangalore. This is a strategic leadership position, serving as our first hire in India for the OpenLink team, with responsibility for recruiting, mentoring, and managing a multi‐disciplinary technology team of approximately 15 professionals over the next 18 months.
This role combines deep hands‐on OpenLink Endur development expertise (15+ years) with proven
people leadership skills and will play a pivotal role in setting development standards, driving technical excellence, and delivering solutions for our global commodities trading operations across power, gas and emissions markets in Asia-Pacific, Europe, and North America.
Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Building
● Recruit, onboard, and manage a high‐performing team including JVS / Kafka developers, PMO
specialists, Business Analysts, QA automation testers and environment managers.
● Create and maintain a collaborative, high‐performance culture within the Center of Excellence.
● Define and enforce development standards, coding guidelines, and best practices for the JVS
development team.
● Provide mentorship, professional growth opportunities, and ongoing performance
management.
Technical Delivery
● Lead solution design, development, and integration of OpenLink Endur with internal
systems to meet evolving business needs.
● Work closely with business analysts and end users to shape requirements into scalable
technical solutions.
● Customize and configure OpenLink Endur to support new products across power, gas, and
emissions markets.
● Streamline and automate business processes using Endur and associated technologies.
● Oversee technical implementations, ensuring adherence to architecture, security, and
compliance standards.
Global Alignment & Strategy
● Act as the primary India-based point of contact for the global OpenLink Application Manager
and peers in other regions.
● Ensure alignment of regional development with global OpenLink Endur practices, processes,
and governance frameworks.
● Strategically assess requirements, determining when Endur is the most appropriate solution or
when alternative approaches should be adopted.
Technical Skills/background:
● 15+ years of progressive experience in OpenLink Endur development, including deep knowledge
of JVS and related APIs.
● 5+ years of people management / leadership experience, with a proven track record of building
and leading technical teams.
● Extensive experience in commodities trading, particularly across power, gas, and emissions
products, and understanding of the full trade lifecycle in Asia-Pacific, Europe, and North
America is a plus.
● Strong expertise in Endur configuration, deal modeling, simulation, scheduling, settlement, and
reporting.
● Advanced programming skills in JVS; knowledge of Java and/or C# highly desirable.
● Solid database experience (SQL design, optimization, and analysis).
● Broad understanding of modern development practices, agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines,
automated testing, and environment management.
● Exceptional communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
● Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
