This position is based out of our NYC office, eligible for a hybrid working arrangement with at least (3) days per week in-office.
Overview
Reporting to the Analytics Manager in the Commercial Group, the principal role of the Settlements Analyst is to provide back-office support to the Trading and Structuring functions. It is crucial in the role to recognise the time sensitive nature of the responsibilities, respond swiftly to meet tight deadlines, and complete work accurately.
The Settlements Analyst is responsible for deal entry and reconciliation, renewable energy certificate (REC) management, month end settlements, transaction management, and data management.
The wholesale commodities that SmartestEnergy US (SEUS) transacts include power, gas, RECs, and carbon certificates. The Analytics group is responsible for all structured products valuation, power plant optimization, market analysis, and data relied on by the Commercial group.
