Job Description

Senior OpenLink Developer

Location: Houston, TX | Type: Full Time | Setup: Hybrid | Experience: 5+ years

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior OpenLink Developer to design, configure, and enhance Endur solutions that support trading, risk, and operations for energy clients. This is an active need, and gMotion experience is required, so if you've worked the gas scheduling and transport side of Endur, you're exactly who we're looking for.

You'd be joining a global consulting firm that helps energy and financial services companies modernize the platforms their trading desks run on. The role is techno-functional: part developer, part business analyst, sitting between stakeholders and the platform and owning both the requirements and the build.

What You'll Do

  • Configure, customize, and extend OpenLink Endur, including gMotion, to meet client business and operational requirements
  • Facilitate workshops and translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
  • Dig into existing systems and processes to find optimization and platform improvement opportunities
  • Troubleshoot application issues, resolve defects, and support users through delivery lifecycles
  • Produce client deliverables that hold up: process documentation, solution designs, presentations, and implementation plans

Qualifications

  • 5+ years as an OpenLink Developer, Business Analyst, or techno-functional consultant
  • Hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and extending OpenLink Endur in complex environments
  • gMotion experience
  • Strong grounding in software delivery lifecycles, requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder management
  • Experience supporting testing, training, cutover, and go-live across enterprise technology projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Finance, Economics, Business, Financial Engineering, or a related field

Nice to Have

  • Prior consulting experience, management or technology side
  • Time inside an energy or utilities trading organization
  • Exposure to trading, risk management, or commodity platforms beyond Endur

Why Join Us

You'll work alongside consultants and engineers who know energy trading from the desk to the database, on programs where the platform decisions actually matter. The team operates with real client ownership, so the work you ship goes live, not into a deck.
