Senior OATI WebTrader SME

We are seeking a

Senior OATI WebTrader SME

with strong experience in energy trading, RTO/ISO market operations, scheduling, bidding, settlements, and OATI webTrader applications.

The SME will serve as the primary functional expert for

OATI webTrader

, working closely with Energy Trading, Power Scheduling, Market Operations, Settlements, IT, and business stakeholders. The role will support configuration, enhancements, integrations, testing, production support, and optimization of OATI webTrader processes.

OATI webTrader integrates physical and financial trading capabilities, including

e-Tagging, scheduling, congestion management, bidding, and shadow settlement

.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the

OATI webTrader Subject Matter Expert (SME)

for business and technical teams.

• Configure, maintain, and support OATI webTrader functionality for energy-market operations.
• Support

Day-Ahead and Real-Time market

bidding, scheduling, and transaction processes.

• Work with RTO/ISO market operations across

PJM, MISO, ERCOT, CAISO, SPP, NYISO, ISO-NE

, or other North American markets.

• Support energy bids, offers, schedules, awards, market transactions, and validations.
• Configure and troubleshoot market-specific bidding and scheduling requirements.
• Support

physical and financial power trading

processes.

• Support transmission scheduling, interchange transactions, and

e-Tagging

workflows.

• Analyze market transactions and investigate rejected, failed, or incorrectly submitted bids and schedules.
• Support

shadow settlement, settlement validation, reconciliation, and market-charge analysis

.

• Work with Energy Traders, Schedulers, Settlement Analysts, Market Operations, and IT teams to resolve production issues.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into OATI webTrader functional solutions.
• Lead or support webTrader upgrades, enhancements, implementations, and market-rule changes.
• Develop functional specifications and coordinate with development and integration teams.
• Support interfaces between OATI webTrader and enterprise applications, including

scheduling, settlements, ETRM/CTRM, OASIS, and market systems

.

• Participate in

SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect management, and release validation

.

• Develop test scenarios for new market rules, bidding requirements, scheduling changes, and system enhancements.
• Provide production support and root-cause analysis for critical market-operation issues.
• Create SOPs, process documentation, configuration documentation, and user training materials.
• Monitor changes to ISO/RTO market rules and assess their impact on OATI processes.

• Experience working with Energy Trading, Scheduling, Settlements, and Market Operations teams
• Strong functional analysis, troubleshooting, testing, and production-support skills
• Experience with OATI integrations and enterprise energy-market applications
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
