Overview
We’re working with a leading global organisation within the energy and commodities trading space, currently undergoing a large-scale technology transformation across its trading platforms.
They are seeking a Senior Business Analyst / Endur SME to play a key role in a greenfield reimplementation of OpenLink Endur, with a strong focus on Risk and PnL configuration and delivery.
This is a high-impact role offering close collaboration with front office, risk, and technology teams, supporting the build of a next-generation trading and risk platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design and implementation of OpenLink Endur (v16 → v25) within a greenfield programme
- Configure and enhance risk and PnL functionalities, including valuation and reporting frameworks
- Work closely with Front Office, Risk, and Middle Office to ensure accurate trade and risk representation
- Contribute to curve building, pricing models, and analytical frameworks within Endur
- Support testing, validation, and go-live readiness
- Post go-live, assist with production support, issue resolution, and new business onboarding
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistency in methodologies and best practices
Required Experience
- Strong experience with OpenLink Endur (10+ years preferred)
- Proven background in commodities trading environments (e.g. Power, Gas, Energy)
- Deep understanding of risk and PnL processes, including valuation and reporting
- Experience with Endur configuration and scripting (AVS/JVS)
- Solid SQL and data handling skills
- Ability to bridge business and technology stakeholders effectively
Desirable
- Experience working on Endur upgrades or greenfield implementations
- Exposure to complex/structured trading products
- Familiarity with global trading environments and cross-regional teams
