We seek to join our expansive Dexian team embedded in our global energy client in Budapest, a SAP S4 Supply Chain Analyst. You will be part of a thriving consulting team embedded with our strategic client, a global energy provider. This is a full time, open-ended, on-site, employee position.
Job Summary:
You will be part of a global IT team which supports our Client’s growing Trading business within Downstream, covering a wide variety of Risk Management related applications & reports. This position focuses on supporting the Risk Operations business, specifically in the Crude & Products commodity area, with their efforts to fulfil requirements for Global Risk Reporting. The team operates out of analytical tools, primarily SAP HANA. This role is customer-facing, ensuring interaction with business partners on the on-going base support work and enhancements to help grow the Trading business.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide high level SAP user support for custom built and standard tools and processes
- Maintain SAP design and relevant data elements / update configuration and training documentation within designated tools
- Provide troubleshooting for end-users, Provide Level 2/3 support for bugs and fixes, work on enhancements according to priorities set
- Implement improvements to the business processes and analyse new business scenarios to determine if can be met with existing design, or if new development / configuration is needed
- Develop functional specifications for custom ABAPs (reports, enhancements or interfaces) and configuration
- Utilize and advise ABAP Development Team for technical design and construction
Required Skills:
- Experience with an ERP system, understanding document flow from contracts, logistics execution, to receipts (settlement)
- Experience working with SAP HANA
- Strong analytical skills to perform root cause analysis and develop effective workarounds in a timely manner to support business continuity
- Ability to communicate with Business stakeholders regarding on-going enhancements, base support and project work
- Familiar with software development life-cycle and business analysis techniques
- Working knowledge with Data Analytics processes (visualization techniques, stored procedures, data modelling, table functions)
- Strong problem solving, debugging, and system analysis skills
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Fluent English (written / spoken) given the global nature of the team and customer base
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to read, use and debug ABAP and SQL for troubleshooting purposes
- Experience with an ETRM system (1-4 years), focused on trade and risk management processes (Profit & Loss, Price Exposure, Value-At-Risk, etc)
- Working knowledge of the trade life-cycle, from pre-deal negotiations to accounting settlement process
- Experience working in either Snowflake, PowerBI, Oracle, or other equivalent Data Analytics tools
- Knowledge of integration or middleware tools such as Azure Data Factory, Qlik, Webmethods, etc.
- Experience with Agile framework & methodologies
