Client Job Description

The SAP ETRM (Energy Trading & Risk Management) Consultant/Analyst is responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP solutions for energy trading, risk management, and commodities trading operations. The role focuses on trade lifecycle management, risk reporting, and integration with upstream/downstream processes.

Trading & Deal Management

• Configure and manage trade lifecycle processes (capture confirmation settlement).
• Support trading operations for commodities such as:

+ Crude oil

+ Natural gas

+ Power & utilities

• Handle deal types:

+ Physical trades

+ Financial derivatives (futures, options, swaps)

Risk Management

• Monitor and analyze market risk, credit risk, and operational risk.
• Configure and support:

+ Mark-to-Market (MtM) valuation

+ Value at Risk (VaR)

+ Exposure management

• Ensure compliance with internal risk policies and regulatory standards.

SAP ETRM Configuration & Support

• Configure SAP modules such as:

+ SAP Commodity Management (CM)

+ SAP Trading & Risk Management (TRM)

• Customize pricing procedures, contract structures, and settlement processes.
• Provide production support and resolve issues (L2/L3 support).
