Vielfältige Aufgaben

• Own and prioritize cross-functional IT topics across the Finance Trading organization in close collaboration with the head of Finance Trading and the Finance leadership team.
• Serve as the primary interface between Finance and IT teams as well as other business stakeholders to drive end-to-end solution delivery.
• Translate business needs into scalable technology, data and system requirements across multiple finance domains.
• Drive collaboration, knowledge sharing and best-practice adoption within the Product Owner and Finance community.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, standardization, automation and efficiency improvements through data-driven insights and modern technologies.
• Support finance teams in understanding and leveraging new digital capabilities, reporting solutions and data products.
• Coordinate the delivery of strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with business priorities, IT architecture and long-term finance transformation goals.
• Define and maintain product roadmaps, priorities and delivery backlogs in close alignment with Finance stakeholders and IT delivery teams.

Überzeugendes Profil

• Degree in a quantitative or finance-related field such as mathematics, finance, informatics or industrial engineering.
• 4+ years of experience working in Energy Trading at the interface between business and IT, ideally with experience in Reporting, Controlling, Accounting, Liquidity Management, Risk or a related area.
• Experience in leading cross-functional initiatives at the interface of business and IT.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to understand complex finance processes and translate them into digital solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to bridge business and technology perspectives.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to build networks and foster cooperation across teams.
• Advanced knowledge of Business Intelligence, Data Analytics and reporting platforms, including Power BI, Snowflake, Celonis and Microsoft technologies.
• Strong understanding of Trading ETRM systems, preferably with experience in Endur.
• Programming and data skills, particularly in SQL and Python, as well as experience in working with AI solutions are advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills, resilience and a high level of ownership and accountability.
• Fluent English communication skills, German language skills would be an advantage.

To strengthen our Finance Trading organization, we are looking for a Product Owner Finance Trading who will drive digital change by designing solutions, steering initiatives and facilitating collaboration with IT. The area includes Financial Management, Controlling, Reporting, Liquidity Management and other finance functions. In this role, you will develop a comprehensive understanding of finance processes and systems while coordinating the implementation of innovative digital solutions. You will help shape the future finance landscape by connecting business needs with IT capabilities and driving initiatives from idea to implementation.

The role offers significant flexibility to shape the systems and processes of Finance Trading, contribute your own ideas, develop concepts and steer implementation. The position offers a strong development perspective, enabling you to grow into broader responsibility for strategic initiatives, cross-functional collaboration, and the future development of the Finance Trading landscape.
