Natural Gas Trading Analyst

The Natural Gas Trading Analyst supports the trade team with reporting needs and managing complex trade details. This role ensures consistent, accurate publication of the Daily P&L and forward positions, while driving process improvements and enhanced reporting capabilities through tools like Power BI.

What You’ll Do

∙ Manage daily P&L validation, resolve discrepancies, and deliver timely results to key stakeholders

∙ Collaborate across Front Office, Back Office, Finance, Legal, and Accounting to ensure alignment

∙ Drive process automation and develop reporting dashboards

∙ Monitor operational risk exposures, maintain compliance and audit readiness, and ensure accurate ETRM data capture

∙ Analyze key drivers behind daily P&L movements

What You’ll Bring

∙ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field

∙ Minimum of 2 years of experience in a mid-office or scheduling role within the energy or commodities sector

∙ Proficiency in ETRM systems and advanced Excel

∙ Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and Python for reporting and data visualization

∙ Strong ability to prioritize and manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment

∙ Effective communication skills to work across diverse teams and personalities

Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and Python for reporting a plus CXL ETRM knowledge a plus
