Job Responsibilities
+ Serve as the primary functional expert for the Murex Front Office modules, engaging directly with traders and other front-office stakeholders.
+ Analyze business processes, gather requirements for new functionalities, and perform gap analysis to determine the optimal solution within the Murex platform.
+ Translate business needs into clear functional specifications for the development and configuration teams.
+ Configure and test Murex to meet business requirements for front-office functions, including pricing, trade capture, and market data management.
+ Build and maintain E-tradepad templates, pricing patterns, and booking workflows for various financial products.
+ Develop and implement pre-trade rules and workflows to ensure compliance and automation.
+ Provide expert-level support to front-office users for any issues related to trading, pricing, or position mismatches.
+ Analyze and resolve complex system issues, using tools like Simulation Viewer, e-Tradepad, and Datamart to investigate discrepancies.
+ Ability to analyze pre-trade and amend or write new pre-trade rules
+ Manage and prioritize production incidents, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
+ Lead or participate in strategic projects related to Murex upgrades, new product launches, or regulatory initiatives.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive system integration, data migration, and testing efforts.
+ Provide estimates and updates for the front-office delivery stream and contribute to project status reports.
+ Prepare and deliver training sessions and user guides to help front-office staff maximize their use of the Murex platform.
+ Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, workflows, and functional specifications.
Job Requirements
+ Minimum of 8 years of experience in working with the Murex platform, with a strong focus on front-office implementation and support.
+ Proven experience as a Murex Business Analyst or Consultant within the capital markets industry.
+ Strong functional knowledge of at least two asset classes, such as Interest Rate Derivatives (IRD), FX Derivatives (FXD), Equities (EQ), or Commodities.
+ In-depth knowledge of Murex Front Office modules, including:
+ Proficiency in SQL (Oracle/Sybase) for data analysis and troubleshooting.
+ Familiarity with financial concepts related to pricing, valuation, risk management, sensitivities (Greeks), and P&L.
+ Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, VBA) and Unix commands is a plus.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex issues under pressure.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
+ Proactive, collaborative, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Preferred qualifications (nice-to-have)
