Middle Office Analyst

The Company

Our client is a Swiss-based energy trading company working with renewable energy producers.

The business supports clients in managing price volatility and stabilising revenues through market access, trading strategies, and long-term agreements such as PPAs. Alongside this, it is active in European power and gas markets, using quantitative and data-driven approaches to optimise trading and risk management.

The Role

You will sit at the centre of post-trade activities, ensuring transactions and related processes are executed accurately and on time. The role involves close interaction with Trading, Finance, Risk, Legal, and IT, as well as external counterparties, requiring both attention to detail and strong coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor post-trade activities within the ETRM system
• Support contract lifecycle processes in coordination with Front Office and Legal
• Oversee invoicing related to renewable energy assets
• Monitor bank guarantees and ensure proper controls are in place
• Prepare and maintain compliance and operational reporting

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience in middle office, back office, or compliance within banking or trading environments
• Degree in Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and a structured, reliable way of working
• Comfortable working across teams and managing multiple stakeholders
• Fluency in Italian (essential) and English
