NRG Ltd. has been founded in April 2022 by experienced ETRM business and software consultants. Although newly established, the company is already a strategic and exclusive near-shore partner of one of the biggest IT consulting companies worldwide and has several other clients.
Looking for:
As a Junior ETRM Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Energy Trading and Risk Management systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including traders, risk managers, IT professionals, and other business stakeholders, to ensure the efficient and effective utilization of our ETRM platform. Expect to be challenged but, no matter what, you will be guided and supported.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis:*
- Collaborate with business users to understand their needs and translate them into functional and technical requirements for the ETRM system.
- Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, workflows, and data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- System Configuration and Implementation:*
- Assist in the configuration and customization of the ETRM system to align with business requirements.
- Work closely with IT teams to implement system changes, upgrades, and integrations.
- Testing and Quality Assurance:*
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the ETRM system.
- Collaborate with end-users to conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and address any issues identified.
- Provide training and support to end-users on the effective use of the ETRM system.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues, working closely with the support team.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Ensure that documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic understanding of energy trading and risk management concepts.
- Team player with proactive attitude
- Work within an international team.
- Experience with Microsoft Office – (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Fluent in English (Min. Level – B2)
- Hybrid work schedule – 3 days in-office / 2 days home-office
Desirable:
- Microsoft Excel – Intermediate Level – (VLOOKUP, .csv file configuration, etc.)
- Familiarity with ETRM systems (e.g., OpenLink, Allegro, Eka) is a plus.
