Functional Analyst — (Americas)

About the Role

Provide L2/L3 support within a large-scale Openlink Endur implementation. You will be a member of a team responsible for triaging and resolving support issues across the Front, Middle and Back office for the Americas trading desks.

What You'll Do

• Investigate and resolve L2/L3 incidents related to deal capture, trade entry, amendments, trade templates, settlements, invoicing, and confirmation processing.
• Provide support for the following areas (but not limited to):
• Deal capture, pricing and curve management including curve loading, validation, gap handling, and manual overrides
• Deal modelling issues across commodity swaps, futures, options, and physical products
• P&L reporting, position management, and risk metric generation
• Confirmation template management and automated confirmation generation
• Accounting journal entry posting processes
• Settlement matching, reconciliation, and payment processing issues
• Contribute to root cause analysis for recurring issues
• Author and maintain runbooks and knowledge base articles for support procedures
• Support UAT testing, defect tracking, and regression testing
• Support regulatory reporting processes as they relate to Openlink Endur data

What You Bring

• 2.5+ years

hands-on support experience with

Openlink Endur/Findur Front, Middle, Back Office

functionality and commodity trading workflows

• Experience with or demonstrated understanding of at least 2 of the following areas:
• Openlink Endur deal capture

— templates, trade entry screens, and desktop configuration

• Pricing and curves

— curve construction, index setup, Super Indices, gridpoint management

• P&L reporting

— mark-to-market, realized/unrealized P&L, P&L explain

• Simulation

definitions, scenarios, and result processing

• Settlements, invoicing and confirmation processing

in Openlink Endur — settlement matching, invoice/confirmation generation, payment processing

• Ability to read and understand

JVS scripts

at a functional level (not necessarily write them)

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of:
• Crude oil, refined products, and/or freight

trading

• Deal modelling

in Openlink Endur — ComSwap, ComFut, ComOptFut, physical power, physical commodity instruments.

• Formula pricing deals

and multi-index structures

• Risk and exposure

calculations in Openlink Endur — Delta, Greeks, VaR

• Accounting/accruals
