Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced

ETRM Developer

to develop, configure, maintain, and support Energy Trading & Risk Management applications, primarily

Openlink Endur

, along with Zema and custom applications. The developer will work closely with business analysts, infrastructure teams, vendors, and business users to deliver solutions supporting

Natural Gas and LNG trading operations

.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize

Openlink Endur

solutions using

OpenJVS/JVS, Java, and/or OpenComponents

.

• Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Support ETRM applications including

Endur, Zema, and custom applications

.

• Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, debug code, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Work across multiple projects and high-priority production issues simultaneously.
• Coordinate with DBAs, infrastructure teams, vendors, and other application teams.
• Follow development, source-control, testing, and production migration standards.
• Participate in

DevOps and CI/CD

processes and maintain secure development and deployment practices.

• Provide occasional

off-hours production support

as required.

Required Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of hands-on Openlink/ION Endur development experience.
• Strong experience with

OpenJVS/JVS and/or .NET

and Openlink Endur customization.

• Experience with

Oracle DBMS and PL/SQL

.

• Strong

Java

development skills and familiarity with

OpenComponents APIs

.

• Experience with

SQL and relational databases

, including Oracle and/or SQL Server.

• Experience with

Git, Subversion, or similar version-control systems

.

• Understanding of

DevOps and CI/CD practices

.

• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Preferred Experience

• Experience supporting

commodity trading environments

, particularly

Natural Gas and LNG

.

• Understanding of

Front, Middle, and Back Office

ETRM functions.

• Experience with

Natural Gas/Financial Deal Capture, Mark-to-Market, Risk Exposure, Gas Scheduling, Settlements, or Accounting

.

• Experience with

Zema

or other energy trading applications.

• Understanding of energy markets and related regulatory requirements.

Work Arrangement

This is a 100% onsite position in Downtown Houston (77002). Candidates must be able to work onsite Monday–Friday.
