X4 Technology are partnered with a high-growth trading organisation seeking a Mandarin-Speaking Application Support Analyst to join their London team.

This is a newly created role sitting between London-based business users and technology teams in Beijing, providing first-line support across a range of business-critical applications and data platforms. You'll investigate issues, validate data through database queries, support end users and coordinate with technical teams to drive resolution across multiple systems, including ERP/SAP platforms.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys getting hands-on with systems and data. The client is looking for someone who can perform initial technical investigations and problem-solving, rather than simply acting as a coordinator or translator.

Requirements for the Mandarin-Speaking Application Support Analyst

• Fluent Mandarin and English
• Experience in Application Support, Business Systems Support, Data Support, Production Support or Junior BA roles
• Ability to query databases, validate data and carry out first-line technical investigations
• Experience supporting enterprise applications and business-critical systems
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to quickly learn new systems and business processes
• Experience within trading, financial services, commodities, energy trading or ETRM environments is highly desirable
• Exposure to SAP/ERP systems would be beneficial

This is an initial 6-month contract with strong potential for extension or permanent conversion. You'll join a growing technology function, gain exposure to a broad range of enterprise systems and play a key role supporting global operations, while helping shape a brand-new position within the business.
