Senior Business Reporting Analyst, Credit & Energy Risk
We are seeking a Senior Business Reporting Analyst to support credit and energy risk management activities within a renewable/clean energy organization. This role will focus on developing and enhancing reporting capabilities, automating risk-related processes, and delivering actionable insights to stakeholders across the business.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize Energy Trading and Risk Management (“ETRM”) systems as a source for risk management and risk reporting.
- Develop, automate, and enhance reporting processes that support credit, market, operational, and enterprise risk management activities.
- Collect, manage, and analyze large datasets from multiple internal and external sources.
- Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that communicate key risk metrics and business insights.
- Monitor and report on exposures, positions, risk assessments, and performance metrics for management and stakeholders.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of risk-related data used for reporting and analysis.
- Partner with risk, trading, operations, finance, and technology teams to improve processes and reporting capabilities.
- Prepare executive-level presentations and reporting materials that summarize key risks, trends, and business performance.
- Support ongoing enhancements to risk reporting systems, data infrastructure, and automation initiatives.
- Leverage emerging technologies and analytical tools to improve workflows, reporting efficiency, and decision support.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Prior experience within renewable/clean energy sector.
- Prior experience with ETRM (Energy Trading & Risk Management) Systems.
- Knowledge of the different Power Markets.
- Experience supporting risk management, middle office, reporting, analytics, or operations functions within an energy, commodities, trading, financial services, or related environment.
- Familiarity with credit risk, market risk, operational risk, or enterprise risk concepts.
- Experience working with large datasets and developing reporting solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytical platforms.
