Role Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Development Manager to lead and drive the growth of Value Creed. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a proven ability to manage a team, develop new business opportunities, build long-term client relationships, and execute high-impact sales strategies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in business development, a strong track record in revenue generation, and the ability to inspire and lead a team to success.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Development:

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of business development professionals, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering a results-driven, high-performance culture. Provide ongoing coaching, performance guidance, and strategic direction to maximize team effectiveness.

  • Strategy Development & Execution:

Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies aligned with Value Creed’s long-term growth objectives. Identify emerging market opportunities and guide the team in capitalizing on new revenue streams.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner with sales, marketing, product, and operations leadership to align business development strategy with overall GTM priorities. Ensure a consistent, compelling articulation of Value Creed’s value proposition throughout the prospecting and opportunity-creation lifecycle, enabling effective handoff and downstream sales execution

  • Performance Tracking & Reporting:

Monitor business development KPIs, pipeline health, and team performance metrics. Provide regular performance updates to senior leadership and refine strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.

Qualification & Skills

  • 7+ years of experience in business development, demand generation, or revenue-adjacent roles, including at least 3 years in a people-management or team leadership capacity.
  • Proven ability to build, coach, and scale high-performing business development teams that consistently generate qualified pipeline and strategic opportunities.
  • Strong proficiency in CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce, with hands-on experience in pipeline hygiene, activity tracking, forecasting inputs, and performance reporting.
  • Demonstrated success in B2B business development, preferably within technology, SaaS, or ETRM-related services, supporting complex, multi-stakeholder buying environments.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to align stakeholders across sales, marketing, product, and operations.
