Business Analyst (CTRM)

Our client is a well-established Japanese multinational commodity trading company with a strong global presence across Asia, Europe, and the America. As part of their continued business growth and digital transformation initiatives, they are seeking a Business Analyst to join their expanding Singapore team.

Reporting to the Manager, the incumbent will be working in a team of 4 staffs. This role focuses on delivering and enhancing digital solutions, with a primary emphasis on the Commodity Trading and Risk Management ( CTRM ) platform. The successful candidate will drive end-to-end project delivery, perform business analysis, gather and translate business requirements into system solutions, oversee reporting and analytics initiatives, and collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors to deliver scalable and effective solutions.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or other relevant disciplines.
• Minimum 6 years' experience in business analysis or digital transformation within the commodity trading industry.
• Strong understanding of CTRM platforms and the physical commodity trading lifecycle.
• Proficiency in analytics and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL, etc) to support business decision-making.
• Proven experience in managing end-to-end projects, from scope definition and requirements gathering to testing, deployment, and change adoption.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across business and technology teams.
• Willingness to travel for business and work across multiple regions and time zones.
