About the Opportunity

This opportunity is for a Business Analyst – Commodities / Capital Markets to join a front‑office-aligned trading technology team supporting the Commodities business. You will work closely with traders, operations, risk, and technology teams to enhance systems and processes that underpin trading and settlement activities.

The role has a strong functional focus on commodities trading workflows and Openlink (Endur/Findur) platforms, covering trade lifecycle processes from deal capture through settlement and reporting. You will play a key role in translating business needs into clear system requirements and driving improvements that support business growth and risk management.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with business stakeholders and technology teams to understand commodities trading workflows and system usage
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for enhancements to trading and post‑trade systems
  • Analyze existing Openlink configurations and trading processes to identify gaps, risks, and optimization opportunities
  • Support solution design by translating business requirements into functional specifications
  • Conduct impact assessments for system changes and support implementation planning
  • Participate in testing activities, including system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure solutions meet business needs
  • Document business processes and create training materials for end users and support teams
  • Provide clear and regular communication to management on project progress, risks, and dependencies

What You Bring

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst in capital markets or commodities environments
  • Strong foundational knowledge of Openlink (Endur/Findur) platform configuration
  • Advanced understanding of commodities trading workflows, including pre‑trade, execution, post‑trade processing, settlement, and regulatory reporting
  • Solid knowledge of financial reference data concepts, including clients, books, securities, trades, and positions
  • Proficiency with SQL and data analysis to investigate system behavior and validate data integrity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical teams
  • Proven experience gathering requirements, writing functional specifications, and managing stakeholder expectations
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, and change management processes

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Background or exposure to Java, Python, or C# to better collaborate with development teams
  • Experience supporting both physical and financial commodities
  • Exposure to regulatory reporting or risk management processes within commodities trading
