Application Support Analyst – Commodity Trading / ETRM
We’re partnering with a leading global commodities trading organisation seeking an experienced Application Support Analyst to join their international technology team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong ETRM/CTRM support experience who enjoys working in fast-paced trading environments and partnering directly with front-to-back-office users.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support for ETRM platforms across trading, scheduling and back-office teams
- Troubleshoot issues related to trade capture, pricing, risk reporting, logistics and settlement
- Support Start-of-Day (SOD), End-of-Day (EOD) and month-end trading processes
- Monitor application performance, batch processes and data integrity
- Work closely with vendors, developers and business stakeholders on incidents, upgrades and enhancements
- Manage and prioritise incidents via ServiceNow or equivalent ticketing systems
- Deliver user support, onboarding and documentation across multiple business-critical applications
What We’re Looking For:
- 6–8 years’ experience within IT/Application Support
- Minimum 3 years supporting ASPECT ETRM systems
- Strong understanding of commodity trading lifecycle processes
- Experience supporting metals or concentrates trading environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of pricing, risk, P&L and settlement processes
- Strong SQL skills with basic scripting knowledge (Python/VBA preferred)
- Exposure to other CTRM platforms such as Endur, RightAngle or CommodityXL is advantageous
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working in a global support model and fast-paced trading environment
